Our Baby Doll Melody is gonna release her own Solo Album soon also ! Good news, good news right ?
Poor Mel who always was left over despite her singing abilities. People tend to forget because Nicole always got so much attention, but if Jessica, Ashley and Kimberly indeed are trained dancers basically; Melody isn’t ! She went to the PCD audition as a -Singer-. She passed, and had to catch up with all the intensive dance lessons to be able to present something correct and match with the rest of the group. I don’t even begin to imagine how hard this young woman should have worked to be where she is now.

I’m actually really glad Melody is now finally releasing a solo album. It seems so important to her, I remember; when she said, during the Doll Domination Tour “Thanks for supporting me even though I’m not featured”… I was like ‘Damn, she must feel so frustrated about this really‘. Although the Dolls were getting along together, some probably better than others (still, I refuse to believe all the mean rumors XD), but there was never any signs of Melody being resentful towards Nicole. yet, I definitely can understand her if it not.

Anyway, back to the topic, Melody’s solo songs !

So far we got the song “Love Gun” up. Although I must admit I remain a bit ambivalent about her voice (she’s got a powerful voice but sometimes it just sounds way too high pitched and it’s sadly slightly irritating), I’m still excited about this album !
