Surprise Surprise ! (plus an unexpected rambling About Gaga’s new single…)

Guess what’ s on French TV since two weeks or so ? Jai Ho ! Somehow I was expecting it (it’s just a little ‘somehow‘ though). Bottle Pop NEVER came (which isn’t a surprise…), and now they’re putting up Jai Ho. Despite what I just wrote, I was pretty shocked when I first saw the video on some random music channel XD It’s even been the “video of the week” last week ! …Now replaced by Gaga’s “Love Game” (*pouts*)

→ Talking of Gaga, it’s time she stops having sex orgies in ALL of her videos. This is becoming kinda tiring. I mean for the audience. Maybe teenagers enjoy it cause it somehow palliates to their non interesting/inexistent sex life but personally I don’t give a flying f*** what Miss Gaga does in her bed, especially when it’s on TV everyday. I definitely prefer seeing my girls Kim and Ash dancing to Jai Ho and being ever so gorgeous and sexy while staying absolutely CLASSY. The worst in this is that I do like Gaga’s songs. But yeah, I quite can’t get how people find it totally normal to have someone saying “I can see you staring there from across the block with a smile on your mouth and your hand on your **** (replace by word that obviously ends by “-ock“)”. As well as the “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick“. I mean damn, seeing 13 year old girls singing along… It’s just amazing. XD Music has taken such a huge step forward when it comes to sex in “all audience” songs since a while…
→ But that’s called liberty of expression and I’m certainly not someone who’s gonna complain about artist’s rights and sexuality in music (An incredible amount of my personal favorite songs are actually about sex, now that I come to think of it…), I just find that kinda scary that Gaga became an icon for Teenagers, while she’s talking of everything but Teenage life. NOT that Teenager have to listen of Teenage orientated songs only of course, but you know what I mean.
→ Actually, Lady Gaga, like the majority of artists (sadly) just have 90% of Teenage fans, which is a shame considering; concerning herself for instance; that her songs are perpetually centered on pretty wild and most of all mature sexuality and life.
→ But then… I suddenly look back and remember my self at 14/15 and I honestly think that reading such a post would have made me laugh my *ss off. Because, I’ve been nothing close to what you’d call an average teenager, I’ve never been a party goer nor that sociable then… But Gosh, I definitely wouldn’t have been bothered nor shocked by the “Disco Stick” mention. At all. Ahem. Change of topic now.

ANYWAY ! That wasn’t the topic, and French kids here don’t even understand what Gaga says, so the problem’s solved ! XD I wonder what their English teacher’s gonna do if they ever ask what “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick” means though. (assuming that kids do see their teachers as helpful persons nowadays of course…)
→ Still, blame it on my rather strong morals (…Wait what ? XD) (Why yes I’m surprising my own self !) I find that new video WAY to sexual (and believe me, this is one paradoxical side of myself cause I tend to love sex related things in music/videos, yet they have to be damned well done for that…). There’s a way to make your video look erotic/sexual and Gaga’s Love game doesn’t look erotic at all. More looks like giant backroom and after parties that were actually full of alcohol and other funny things.
→ Ah, and where everybody’s bisexual ! Have you seen that lately really ? All the Teenagers are suddenly becoming bisexual ! Isn’t that FRIGGIN’ fantastic ? (yes that’s a sarcasm.) I’m sad for true bisexuality and bisexuals really, that’s becoming a new trend. 2 times out of three now if you ask a 15year old if she already made out with a girl she’ll say yes (and you have 50% of chances she does it with a supposedly ‘sexy’ voice, on top of that…), and with some kind of pride I can’t quite get. And better, the majority of them claim to in fact be bisexual.
→ The thing is, that if being bisexual means kissing a girl (and liking it because you love the taste of her cherry chapstick) once or twice while being too drunk to even remember how old you are; going out with boys only during your whole adolescence and then, getting pregnant at 18 and getting married around 24 and remembering how you screwed up your life so far… then I guess the world has a lot more of bisexual girls than we think, yes. (And another funny coincidence : 90% of people this trend suddenly made Bi are, how strange, girls.)

→ I personally thought being bisexual meant being able to fall in love with either a boy or a girl but oh well. I must be kinda old fashioned.

See how I get carried away ? XD It’s terrible ;__; Anyway; will I manage to go back to the PCD and Jai Ho ?? >.< So… That was a real pleasure to see the Dolls on French TV and on a big screen ! I must admit I wasn’t too fond of Jai ho when it first came out. But I guess that’s also due to that Puzzle Challenge I took on Myspace XD I heard the song for like 2 hours in a row while trying to complete that thing (yes, I’m a stubborn person) so I somewhat have a bad memory of it XD
But now, seeing the video on French TV must have been making me really happy, unconsciously, cause I always was absolutely excited when it was on XD I just hope they’re gonna put it on a lot like they did for WIGU (totally dreaming here but well), at least they’re actually gonna program it frequently. I hope, but I’m doubting. This release has a reaaaaaally bad timing. See what’s released here at the same time :

• A new Gaga single, (Love Game)
• A new Britney single, (if you seek Amy)
• A new Brick & Lace single (don’tnowwhatthehellit’scalled)
• A new Akon single (Beautiful)….

Just that (and especially the two first ones) is most likely gonna put Jai Ho directly into the abysmal hole of massive unsuccessful singles released in Europe. (that’s just me and my eternal pessimistic view of things though, don’t believe a single word of it if you’re a positive person.)
